Yoga Made Easy:
Gentle & Chair Yoga with Krista

For Those Who Want to Age Gracefully, Move Mindfully, and Feel Better in Their Bodies

You're in the Right Place!

Do you wake up with more aches than you used to?
Do you feel like your body is slowing down, even though your spirit still wants to stay active?

Maybe it’s frustrating, embarrassing—or even a little scary—to notice the changes happening in your body. Day after day, you're reminded that things aren’t as easy as they once were.

Sometimes, you catch your reflection and wonder:
"When did everything change?"
You barely recognize your body—or your life.

You’re not alone.

If you’ve been feeling like things are shifting too quickly…
If it feels harder to do what you used to do with ease…
If you long to feel good in your body again—strong, calm, connected—
…then this space was created for you.

Yoga Made Easy for Real Life

I offer welcoming, judgment-free yoga classes that meet you exactly where you are—whether you’re brand-new, coming back after a break, or navigating the realities of aging.

You don’t need to be flexible. You don’t need fancy clothes or a perfect body.

You just need a willingness to show up and take care of yourself.
I'll guide you from there.

Every class is:

  • Gentle and accessible (no pretzel poses!)

  • Grounded in mindfulness

  • Rooted in real life, not performance

  • Designed to help you feel better—physically, mentally, and emotionally

Whether you're struggling with stiffness, pain, balance, stress, or just feeling out of touch with your body, you are welcome here.

🪑 Chair Yoga
Feel grounded, safe, and supported.

Chair Yoga is perfect if you:

  • Have trouble getting up and down from the floor

  • Are recovering from injury or illness

  • Want a gentle way to move your body without strain

We use a chair for support throughout the class, focusing on joint mobility, breath, balance, and ease.

🕘 Offered on Mondays and Fridays at 9:30 am

“This yoga practice is perfect for me, and it was a pleasant surprise to discover that chair yoga can be so effective.”
— AP after trying yoga

🧘🏼‍♀️ Gentle Yoga
Build strength, flexibility, and calm—from the mat.

Gentle Yoga includes slow, mindful movements done on the floor and standing, with options for all levels. It’s ideal if you:

  • Want to improve mobility and strength in a low-impact way

  • Are able to get down to the floor but don’t want a fast-paced or strenuous class

  • Crave a relaxing, nurturing experience that leaves you feeling renewed

🕘 Offered on Thursdays at 9:30 am

“For Gentle Yoga you are the best Krista!
Not ever going to give up your gentle yoga class because it’s the class that helps me stretch and most important de-stress and relax.”
— KF, Daytona Beach
“Thank you for sharing your special gift and talent. Your classes are both mentally and physically inspiring. I always feel rejuvenated after your class and so look forward to them. Thank you for continuing to feed our body and soul during the pandemic. Your zoom classes are truly inspiring.”
— Kelly Lowe, Ormond Beach

🌀 A Note on Flexibility (and Not Just the Physical Kind)

While I guide Chair Yoga from the chair and Gentle Yoga from the floor, you’re always encouraged to practice in the way that works best for you.

Can only make the Gentle class but prefer the chair? Pull up a chair!
Want to bring your mat to the Chair Yoga class? Go for it!
You have the freedom to make the practice your own.

I’ve intentionally designed every class to be accessible, adaptable, and inclusive, no matter where you are in your body or life. All you have to do is listen to what you need—and give yourself permission to follow it.

🌸 Practice on Your Terms

Yoga that fits your life—not the other way around.

  • Join in person when you want connection, a reason to leave the house, and community energy.

  • Log in from home via Zoom when your schedule needs flexibility—maybe the plumber’s coming in that five-hour window, or you're traveling, or as a snowbird you spend half of your time out of the area.

You don’t have to choose one over the other. You can mix and match based on what you need each week.

Need the in-person vibe? Show up and feel the shared space.
Prefer the privacy of home? Zoom in and enjoy uninterrupted movement and breath.
This practice adapts to your world—not the other way around.

Why? Because real life doesn’t always cooperate. You deserve yoga that works with your week, not against it. 🌿

📅 Check the Calendar Before You Roll Out Your Mat

I'm a one-woman show, and while I aim for consistency, sometimes life happens! Please be sure to check the calendar or join the email list for any updates or changes before attending class.

It’s yoga, not the airlines—but it's always nice to confirm before you show up. 😉

💛 Come As You Are

You don’t need to “get in shape” first. You don’t need to know what you’re doing. You don’t even need to touch your toes.

You just need to be ready to show up with an open heart and a willingness to care for yourself.

This is a space for real people with real bodies and real lives.
And you, exactly as you are right now, are more than enough.

Individually focused, inclusive yoga for physical, mental & spiritual joy!
